Come down and grab yourself a table, seven days a week. Dogs are welcome, too, so please do not hesitate to bring your whole family along for a meal.
Beer Garden
Headlands offers an unrivalled alfresco dining experience, with our north-facing Beer Garden.
Our outdoor dining areas in Wollongong boast incredible ocean views, evoking a relaxed atmosphere that everyone can enjoy – including your furry friends!
The Beer Garden is undercover and can be enclosed from the elements.
Sundowner Terrace
Sun drenched and relaxed, the Sundowner Terrace is the perfect setting for relaxed beachfront dining!
Our Sundowner Terrace allows patrons to make the most of the Illawarra sunshine, with large umbrellas and lounge furniture for the perfect outdoor experience. The space offers an incredible view of Little Austinmer beach, and is perfect for the whole family – even your furry friends!
Sundowner Lounge
The Sundowner Lounge overlooks the Sundowner Terrace and Little Austinmer Beach.
The room is semi-private and features a cosy fireplace, as well as floor to ceiling windows that provide ample natural light. A wonderful option for your next event, this unique Wollongong dining space seats up to 30 people.
The Airstream
Our repurposed 1968 Airstream Sovereign has become integral to the Headlands name.
Serving a variety of food truck-inspired menu items, The Airstream currently offers an assortment of dumplings and woodfired pizza. Visit us any Friday, Saturday or Sunday for a truly exceptional beachfront dining experience.
The Bistro
Sit back, soak up the view and savour an outstanding beachfront dining experience.
From succulent seafood and zesty salads to slow-roasted meats and charcuterie boards, we have a delectable dish for every diner.
The Bar and Bistro is open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Walk-ins are welcome, however, we kindly advise larger parties to make a reservation in advance.
Main Bar & Sports Bar
The two bars showcase their natural surrounds, with floor-to-ceiling bifold doors that welcome the outside in.
Our Sports Bar features a northerly aspect with adjoining balcony, as well as big screens to watch all the action live and loud!
As well as all kinds of flavourful beachfront food, Headlands offers an extensive cocktail menu, and an array of local, international and craft beers. Our wine list covers varieties from awarding-winning regions in Australia and overseas.

We accept group dining reservations for parties between 10 and 30 people.
 Smaller groups do not need to make a reservation for beachfront food and drinks. Simply walk in when you’re ready to dine by the ocean.
